Kevin MacMillan is an associate of the Firm, focusing his practice on commercial litigation and corporate, commercial and transactional matters.

Mr. MacMillan has been involved in litigations in many substantive areas of law, including corporate and partnership control, corporate fiduciary duties, the fiduciary duties of investment advisors, securities disclosure, employment, intellectual property, and contracts, in federal and state courts and before various administrative and regulatory tribunals.

Mr. MacMillan also advises clients in connection with contract, transactional and other non-litigation matters, including stock and asset purchases and sales, leases, trusts, not-for-profit organizations, employment agreements, and intellectual property, helping to formulate strategic solutions for clients that minimize the risk of legal exposure in a cost effective manner.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. MacMillan was an associate in the Capital Markets Group of Shearman & Sterling’s London Office. There he gained experience in corporate and securities law through his involvement with securities transactions, including Orange SA’s €6.3 billion global public offering in 2001, and ongoing U.S. disclosure matters for European corporate clients.

Mr. MacMillan is fluent in Spanish.
