Jack Zulack focuses his practice on the defense of global banks and financial institutions.  Since 2009, for example, he has served as lead defense counsel for more than 15 Swiss, French, British and Luxembourg-based banks that are defendants in the Bernard Madoff “claw-back” proceedings pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Jack’s practice includes not only advocacy in cross-border and complex litigation, but also counseling of European-based institutional clients on complex and sensitive matters.  For more than 30 years, Jack has played a key role in representing European institutional clients in cross-border litigation and other dispute resolution proceedings, and has counseled such clients on a broad range of complex, international matters.

Jack is a lawyer’s lawyer – he is frequently called upon by prominent law firms to serve as conflicts counsel and to provide strategic advice and representation on complex and sensitive matters.

Fluent in French, Jack has been active in bar association work throughout his career.  He serves on the Executive Committee of the International Section of the New York State Bar Association.  He is a former Chair of the International Section.
